Getting the most out of it in summer

Straw breathes, so it stays comfortable in the heat of the afternoon. Wear it with a linen or chambray shirt and keep sunscreen on any skin the brim does not cover. Tighten the inner cord on windy days so it stays put on the boat or the tractor. On a hot fair day, slip it off now and then and let your head breathe, then put it back on before you head into the sun again.

Fit and size

It comes in one size, 56 to 58 cm (22 to 22 7/8 in). Pull the adjustable cord inside the crown to fit heads from about 54 to 59 cm. Not sure of your size? Measure around your head just above the ears with a soft tape.

Care

Keep the woven straw out of heavy rain, wipe it with a damp cloth, and store it on its crown.
